Looks like you had a good day to pick your tree out! I miss being able to do that. We had to buy a fake one due to me being allergic to the pine. :(

That has been a tradition in our family since my husband and I married almost 9 years ago. Last year we had to buy a fake tree because for some reason there aren’t any tree Christmas tree farms in Indonesia. Maybe because it is the largest Muslim country in the world, or maybe because it is in the tropics. I treasure the memories and look forward to cutting my own tree again someday. Thank you for the wonderful pictures.

Are they still out there trying to decide? Or is the prize pick in your house already decorated? Going to get the tree is one of my most favorite parts of the holiday.

Happy WW

That looks like so much fun! I’ve never taken my kids to a Christmas tree farm because we do the faux trees, but I think we need to try that sometime!

I like the picture of the girls walking down the road. It reminds me of the poem:

Don’t walk in front of me,
I might not follow.
Don’t walk behind me,
I might not lead.
Walk beside me, and be my friend.
