In order to balance out my last post that was way too long, here is a short diddy inspired by my conversation this morning at the bus stop with two other mommies who, like me, are desperately hoping the rain will mean no soccer, softball or baseball tonight.

Just doing a BlogHer tour and chuckled at this entry. As a mom on the cusp of “Soccer Momhood,” I cannot wait for those outings. And how long will it be before I, too wish for rain?
It reminds me of hoping for a snow day in the middle of winter — for me as much as for the kids.
Oh yes. I completely understand this feeling! Hahaha.
And our wish was granted!!! Ahhh . . .
