As an addition to the “learn to write a press release” I would advocate: “Learn to make a press kit.” I’ve routinely had writers/journalists ask for them, and it is much much easier to manage how you present your business when you have one.

how about how to create beautiful photo layouts for blogs? or banners & avatars for Etsy and other marketplaces?
