Kristie McDonald is a mom of three kids, a wife and an entrepreneur.

She started in the eCommerce business when she got sick and tired of the corporate drudgery she faced in her career as an IT Consultant. Despite her love of consulting, working for someone else had taken all of the excitement out of that career.

Her first eCommerce idea, Radio Controlled Cars, came from her husband’s love of racing. Seeing the RC enthusiasts first hand, she had an instinct that this market would be extremely passionate about their hobby and that makes for a great audience!

Choosing her husband’s hobby had an added benefit – it has become a true family business and this family has a lot of fun running the business together.

In addition to her eCommerce store, Kristie has gone back to her roots in consulting and started to help other folks get their online businesses started, noticed and growing.
