About Megan Jordan
Megan Jordan is a stay-at-home mom of two toddler boys on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. She stumbled into eBay selling as a fluke and quickly found success as an owner of an eBay store, Lagniappe Merchant.
“Lagniappe” roughly translated means “an unexpected bonus.” That perfectly sums up Megan’s customer-based approach to eBay. If you can satisfy the customer, perhaps even surprise them, then you will succeed.
Her down-to-earth style and easy approachability were instant hits with her eBay customers, as well as friends, family, and strangers who sought her out for advice on how to get started selling on eBay themselves.
Through eBay and eCommerce at Sparkplugging, Megan makes eBay fun again. She makes it relatable. She makes it almost, daresay, easy.
Her goals for eBay and eCommerce and you:
- for you to enjoy selling on eBay.
- for you to have confidence in your ability to knock ‘em dead as a successful eBay seller, whether part-time or full-time.
- for your customers to delight in buying on eBay from you.
- for you to end your hesitation and use this as a forum for your concerns, questions, ideas, and eventual successes!

About Kristie McDonald
Kristie McDonald is a mom of three kids, a wife and an entrepreneur.
She started in the eCommerce business when she got sick and tired of the corporate drudgery she faced in her career as an IT Consultant. Despite her love of consulting, working for someone else had taken all of the excitement out of that career.
Her first eCommerce idea, Radio Controlled Cars, came from her husband’s love of racing. Seeing the RC enthusiasts first hand, she had an instinct that this market would be extremely passionate about their hobby and that makes for a great audience!
Choosing her husband’s hobby had an added benefit – it has become a true family business and this family has a lot of fun running the business together.
In addition to her eCommerce store, Kristie has gone back to her roots in consulting and started to help other folks get their online businesses started, noticed and growing. Understanding that everyone is at a different point in their business when they seek out help is the key to providing the best services and advice possible. You can learn more about the Online Business Consulting Services Kristie offers at www.OnlineBizConsulting.com.
This is a business that is fun, exciting and rewarding. At Sparkplugging, we look forward to showing you “how it’s done”.
