*GASP* I know, I know – as much as an eBay addict I can be, let’s face it – not everything sells.
I’m not here to take the wind out of your sails…just tell you the honest truth. 
I can’t tell you how many new eBay sellers I come across that have wasted so much time, energy and most important – MONEY!
In today’s economy every purchase has to be a smart purchase. That goes the same if you’re going to buy inventory for your eBay store.
Try to be open minded
Once you get in to the ‘buying to sell’ addiction, you may find yourself with blinders on. Let’s face it, some things are hit and miss. Trends come and go. It’s all about staying on top of the game and striking while demand is hot. The ‘CUTE’ factor doesn’t always apply when you’re on the hunt to make money!
Research, Research, Research!
Yep, don’t expect to open an eBay store and/or start an auction without some knowledge of how a product has done in the past and present. One of the major points I try to get across to the subscribers of Boutique Bargains & Beyond- is to be aware of what you are selling consistently each and every season. For example, I specialize in boutique clothing – I love it – I have a passion for finding the best possible deal to profit me the most money. I know what sells well for me and those items are staples in my store. As a seller, you need to do the same thing. What may sell well for you, may not sell well for me and vise verse. It’s all about researching and finding what works well for YOU!
Please, be patient. 
It’s not a matter of opening an eBay store and having the customers flock in the same day. It takes time and work to establish your brand.
