One time my mom got all excited thinking she coudl sell quilts on ebay. After all there were tons of listings. But the kind she was thinking of selling – large squares, quickly machine sewn, easily done in a couple afternoons – were not being bought at *all*.

I think you pointed out something else as well – no matter how pretty the listing or well done, that’s not what sells it.
