Welcome to Friday: The Gateway to the Weekend. Unless you work from home, of course. Then it’s probably more the The Gateway to More Work. 
Hey, it’s all part of being able to set your own hours, right? Since we have arrived safely at Friday, Tamara and I would like to continue the tradition of sharing some posts (and some link love) with blogs that have been particularly interesting or helpful this week.
- Melissa at A Writer’s Woolgatherings has decided to use public accountability to rekindle an old love – reading. I love the idea of public accountability. It’s part of the reason I enjoy writing this blog so much. Good luck, Melissa!
- As usual, Genesis had a ton of good things to say. I loved a couple of her articles this week, but I’m directing you over to a really useful one for us work-at-home parents called “How to Grow Your Business.”
- I saw a few great articles this week dealing with burnout and the fear of failure/fear of success. The first was Megan’s post “Burnout and Fear of Success for the Word-at-Home Parent” on eBay Selling for eParents. Next I came across “Time Management for Entrepreneurs: How to Avoid Burnout” over on the IttyBiz blog. Then I saw that Wendy had also posted on the topic on e
Mom s at Home with her article “Is It Fear of Failure or Fear of Success That’s Holding You Back?”
- Freelance Switch shared information about a calling card contest being held by GoMedia Arsenal. The freelance designers among us should really, really check it out!
- I’m starting to feel like it just wouldn’t be Friday if I wasn’t linking to Freelance Folder. This week, Amrit Hallan offers some practical solutions to “The Balance Between Handling Business Inquiries and Doing the Actual Work.”
- There’s another post on IttyBiz that I wanted you to see, too. It fits in pretty nicely with the one above and is called “Time Management for Entrepreneurs: How to Get Four More Hours in Your Day.” Have I mentioned yet that I really like Naomi’s writing style? ‘Cause I do!
Lorna Doone Brewer is both a writer and an entrepreneur at heart. This is where those two worlds meet. She also blogs at 
Tamara Berry used to miss interaction with her daughter. Now she misses interaction with adults. Freelance writing is her happy medium.
