@James - You now have evidece that would hold up in court. We officially love you.

@Allean - You should never ask a woman "what happened to your hair?" I had beent rying to grow it out during my pregnancy and just hated it, so off it came again. I think I look better with shorter hair.

Sometimes I look twice at office work... I tend to get a bit lonely depsite vitrual peeps. And what happened to your hair, Ms Lorna? that's not what your pic looks like :) And Deb, surely you got to see the third part of the crew, too? Little miss dot?

Yeah, yeah, love me. You know you do. ;)

Deb is an A-1, class act, and it's been an honor to look after her "baby" for her. She has established a wonderful community at FWJ and I am very privileged to be a part of it.

Oh and yes, there are tradeoffs. I can't just blow the day off and take my son to the park or beach, for instance. But I do get paid sick and vacay so it works itself out.

I can tell you both Lorna and Tamara are stunning women and they're a lot of fun to hang out with. I think when that video was taken I was on day four of no sleep - and it shows!

Allena, I wouldn't have even considered this job if I couldn't work at home. I have no desire to return to office work. In fact, I only responded on a whim, I didn't expect to get the job. BUT, with that said, even if I was still freelancing I would have had to hire writers for FWJ. I wish I could do nothing but FWJ full time, but I need a full time salary. So I had to make some tough choices.

I'm very happy with the writers at FWJ now and even happier I can still blog there any time I want.

P.S. Meeting both Lorna and Tamara was one of the highlights of my BWE experience!

I've been following Deborah, as well and found her freelance Writing Jobs a good resource.

It's great to see others' success. Sometimes we get the most inspiration from those who've stayed the course.

well aren't you a cutie patootie Lorna?

I was wondering about Deb's move to a FT position too. I wasn't even surprised, because, on a personal note, I'm feeling burned out a bit on staright freelancing. Imagine- Deb doesn't have to scrounge for jobs every day, train anew everyday, and juggle 5-10 clients. What's that feel like! Of course I'm sure there's tradeoffs.
