Good to see other people over the age of twenty doing Nano. I seem to only be able to run into teenagers doing it and talking about how hard it is to write between second and third period. Good luck keeping it up, and I think you’re right about habits. I get more done writing a few minutes daily than I possibly could sitting down for Serious Writing every Sunday or something.

I guess I'm accidentally doing NaNo. But I'm a cheater, because I wrote tons of this book longhand last summer, and it's always been piecemeal since then. But for some reason, starting at the end of October, I couldn't stop thinking about it- it's all I want to write, and not one day has gone by that I haven't written at least 1000 words of it! Hi Tamara, I too am doing the NaNoWriMo for the first time and am really excited about it. I have so many ideas rolling around in my head and just waiting until I get my children off to bed to start getting it down. Like yourself I am used to writing everyday mostly SEO stuff and I miss the more personal writing that I used to do some years ago. This is the opportunity for me to spark off my creativeness again and see exactly where it can lead. Who knows maybe one of us will have a best seller at the end of the month. Best of luck to you.
