That is great on the storefront. I never realized how close you are to me. I live in Northern ID, just about an hour and fifteen minutes from you. How wonderful is that? Your blog encourages me all the time. I love how you combine working and family life.

Sounds like such a beautiful spot and of course you're still WAHMs!! And now you're WOHMs too - best of both worlds! A quiet space to work can be wonderful. Congrats and I`m jealous. Very, very jealous. I`ve been trying to get out of the house even to work in a coffee shop for a long time now and it never happens, so good on you ladies for finding a place to make your dream come true!

Oh, and the coffee shop and massage place? SAWEET!

BTW, I`m trying to picture how a 150 square foot space would be small . . . my entire house is that size and if it were all open, it would seem huge to me! lol.

I always wonder how ppl with little ones around can write! I can’t be coherent until I ship my two off to school.

Question: Ok, so, for my home office, for example, I “get” a $1000 adjustment on my taxes/write off. Do you get to write off rented office space, or is it a straight expense?

Do you know what I’m saying? I pay heat, lights, garbage, mortgage, internet, phone, etc for my house, and I get to write off a percent of all that since my office is in my house.

You have to repay all that stuff a second time for an office space, so do you lose that write off for your taxes?

Instead of “getting” $1000, do you end up paying twice everything?

Sorry, my husband-slash-accountant isn’t home to bother!
