Genesis – I am really looking forward to the fact that writing will soon not only be a means of making a living, but it will also seem like a nice distraction from diapers and such. Thanks for the glimpse into my future.

lmmomsdaughter – Ooh, not getting paid . . . we’ve already experienced that a couple of times, and it is so frustrating! I think we’ll probably be writing about it here, soon. I’d love to know if you have any suggestions for staying out of that kind of situation.

I’ve had the dream of being a writer since I was in third grade. It’s only recently that I decided to follow some dreams. I’ve started blogging, and I’m hoping to get into freelance writing.

I want to work for myself and not go back to the 8-5 cubicle gig anymore.

Thanks for sharing your enthusiasm and things you learn along the way – I really think you’ll help a lot of people follow their dreams!

I aspire to be a WAHM and that’s why I decided to embark on my journey of going freelance. My 1st job did not go too well as the client still owed me for 2 weeks pay. However, I’m doing quite well with writing product reviews on my shopping blog. Not enough to pay the bills but a good amount of pocket money though.

I´m a work at home mom of two boys under 2 and a writer. I stayed home with my eldest because he was born with a small problem that required a colostomy and several surgeries. At first, I wasn´t working, but it drove me nuts not to have something to do besides change diapers and feed a baby!

So, I started working as a freelance writer again and then moved on to blogging. Now I do both, look after my kids and work and everyone is a lot happier!

Hello,
I’m starting to freelancing. I work 2 hours a week as a webjournalist for a website on special education. Working as a freelance gave me the feeling that I wanted to do that more. So now I’m trying with my blogs to earn some money and start a little business with my blogs. I’m working as a teacher beside that, so I write about things on education. But I would like to do more on blogs and making money with them. I hope that one day I earn some money with it to have enough for the whole family (my wife and 2 kids).
I’m Dutch, so not al will be perfect English.
