I agree with everyone — You guys share a fantastic mix of information, humor, and business details (that I didn’t have a clue about until I learned them from you!) on your blog. It has been wonderful to read what you both have to say.

I started my freelancing business around the same time you guys did, but I didn’t have nearly as much information and experience as you guys. So I kind of think of the two of you as the knowledgeable older sisters (Though I’m not calling anybody old! You might even be younger!) helping me out. And for that, I thank you.

Keep up the great work on this blog.

I think one of the things that’s got you so many subscribers so quickly is that there seems to be a bit of everything here. I love the mix! The business stuff helps, the advice, the work related whines and the humour all make this a great place to stop by.

So, when I was typing that “friend” thing, I had one of those moments that feels like approaching a new table in the school cafeteria and hoping I didn’t get scoffed!

As for your suggestion: I love it! I’m going to work in the next few weeks on putting together a glossary of freelance/writing terms. Feel free to send any ideas for what you’d like to see included.

First of all, I am SO honored to be considered a friend!!

Just starting out, there are tons of phrases I don’t understand. It’s like when you have a conversation with a doctor and they toss in medical lingo, like everyone knows what the heck they are talking about. Take for instance, what is copywriting anyway?? I mentioned before in a comment that we are different sort of freelancers, and I might never offer copywriting as a service. But then again, I don’t know. I don’t even know what it is. LOL! For those of us newbies, explaining simple terms would be great.

Or . . . maybe I’m the only one in the dark!
