I was speaking with a very wise woman recently and she said as long as both parties to such a relationship feel they are getting value - well then, everyone is getting value! Its true! Initially you have to give more than you can get back. It only works this way. I got my name optimized for free write ups and editing initially and it sure helped me in the long run. Yes, I sometimes hesitate when opportunity presents itself. A sample of the myriad of questions that come into my brain are, am I qualified, do I have enough time, and am I available.
