I agree with everything here especially with inexpensive office products. Expensive isn’t always the answer to everything. What is most important is quality, affordability and usefulness.

Great article. I think the internet can be a huge distraction. I have a bad habit of getting side tracked by the web. I will be doing research for an article and the next thing you know i will be reading the local news or playing around with my fantasy football team. Not sure what the solution is yet (maybe some ADD meds) anyway thanks for the info!

True enough, these are productivity killers to the point that things climb to my brain and sends me off to my boiling point. This post was really great and I have to agree that you shouldn't short yourself out when buying office products since sometimes it is more costly to fis them. I think that getting to kill procrastination fast is by also motivating yourself by: "Come on, I can do this, If I can do that in one hour then there will be time for me to watch my fave show." Very helpful ideas. Here’s another idea for dealing with the phone–in your answering machine message, indicate WHEN you’ll be available to return the caller’s call–”I’m not available now, but I’ll be able to return your call between 2 and 4 pm today.” That way you can work guilt-free and let the machine catch all your messages.
