[...] Brandie Kajino is your home office organizing queen. She knows her stuff and she also knows how easy it is to get caught up in doing what you love (after all isn’t that why you work from home in the first place? You love what you do. ). She knows it’s easy to devote so much time to it that you begin to feel overwhelmed. Don’t let yourself become victim to overwhelm instead follow her four steps to home office sanity.
This is exactly what I do. I'll write a post, then go do a load of laundry, then I'll go through my RSS feeds, then scrub the stinky toilet. It really works. I find that if I work all day without taking any breaks (even if it is to clean some really disgusting messes) I lose my concentration and start outputting some really bad quality stuff.

Wow, I couldn't have said it any better. That's exactly how I feel, more often than I should. I do feel better when I take a break, but of course I can't help but worry needlessly while cleaning the house that I'm creating more work for myself online by taking a break! I need to find a way to stop that...
