Ok ladies (and guys looking for a great gift) ! Ok, normally we talk about paper, time management and all that great stuff here on the Home Office Organizer Blog. But, today I’m talking about this most fabulous bag. Why? Because a girl needs a good bag to keep it all together when she’s on the run, and and organized one that looks this great doesn’t hurt either!
Have you seen the Butler Bag? Ok, not only is it easy on the eyes, but here is what makes it really special. Take a look inside:
How gorgeous is that? See all those little compartments? Yeah, that keeps your stuff in place. So, when you (or your loved one) leave your home office to go see a client, you know just where your keys, cell phone and wallet are. No more digging.
How smart is this: Cool part of this story… The creator, Jen Groover, got this idea by looking at her dishwasher’s silverware basket. Uh, brilliant!
Wanna be able to find your stuff? Check out the Butler Bag and a variety of other cool accessories and products here. Tell them I sent ya.

I have a Hybrid, and honestly, I don’t like it. I was thrilled when it arrived, but my main complaint after using it for several months is that the items don’t STAY in their compartments unless the bag always remains level. This means that I can’t carry it over my shoulder because if I bend down, it isn’t level anymore. I am disappointed.
I have heard that about that bag too. However, if I dump any other bag it also gets messed up.
Hmm, that may just be the idea I need for getting my wifes B-day present.

So I bought the hybrid and I use it in place of a briefcase and/or purse for work. It holds all the things I need (wallet, keys, GPS, receipt book) and the like and since I’m a Professional Organizer it makes me look really good when I can ask a client to run get my camera or keys and they open the bag and voila, everything is super organized.
However, I could never use this bag as a purse because it is just too heavy for me. So I ordered the classic (knowing I’d have to scale down some of my personal items like my planner and wallet to fit) but I ended up returning it before I ever used it. It was way too small, wouldn’t stay on my shoulder, and was too bulky under the arm. I so wanted it to work and was super disappointed it didn’t. I’m not on the hunt for the “perfect purse” again. The Butler Bag came so close that it makes it hard to settle on anything else.
