Using Online Tools to Connect, Learn and Share

I love to meet people, learn and connect. I also love using tools and applications to make it easier to organize interesting stuff I find, share it with others, connect with people I already know and meet interesting people I don’t yet know. Social media and bookmarking site are way fun, and I could get lost for hours! However, if used properly they can also be very useful in sharing and pooling knowledge in this crazy information-packed world.  (And help with information overload!)

The internet is chock-full of ways to connect and learn new things, with new ones coming out all the time. Case in point: I recently stopped using my bookmarks in Firefox and opted to go with del.icio.us instead. So easy to use, share and hard to lose.

What about you?

So, what tools do you use to connect and keep track of people, places and information? Here’s a few I like, along with my profiles in case you want to connect and share:

If you’re a small business owner, this site is great to find tips and tricks others use, as well as some great advice!
