As I was wandering through a virtual Christmas wonderland, I came upon a cozy little gingerbread house in the woods. While this gingerbread house is very inviting, it’s missing a little something. Actually, it’s missing a lot of little somethings. It still needs to be decorated! So while the weather outside is frightful . . . stay inside and have your kids decorate this online gingerbread house!

When we had our foster daughter a couple of years ago, I got her one of those decorate-your-own kits at Joann Fabrics. She and her cousins loved it. I suspect, however, that this virtual alternative would have resulted in a lot less mess for me!
