I have a great Christmas craft to do with pre-schoolers. Not that older kids can’t do it too! It’s a Christmas wreath made out of a paper plate and holiday cupcake wrappers. It’s simple, fun and very decorative!

Here’s What You Need to Make a Paper Plate Christmas Wreath:

  • Paper plate
  • Pencil
  • Scissors
  • Holiday cupcake wrappers
  • Glue
  • Ribbon

Here’s How to Make a Paper Plate Christmas Wreath:

1. Trace a circle in the middle of the paper plate wide enough to touch the plate’s ribbed edges.

2. Cut out the inner circle of the paper plate.

If doing this craft with pre-schoolers, obviously it’s best if an adult does steps one and two. And possibly step four. But hey, the little tykes get to glue on the cupcake wrappers!

3. Glue holiday cupcake wrappers around the paper plate.

4. Make a bow out of ribbon and glue to the wreath.
