In addition to doing this Christmas Eve, we always bake Christmas cookies for Santa. We usually make sugar cookies and decorate them with red and green sprinkles. By mid-afternoon, my kitchen floor is covered in flour, sugar and of course . . . red and green sprinkles!
Although I’m a stickler for tradition, I wanted to see what other kinds of Christmas cookies families baked together. I found out there’s a lot more kinds out there than I realized! Shhh. Don’t tell my kids because we’re going to make our usual sugar cookies. But if you’re looking for variety, check out these great Christmas cookie recipes.
