My Blog Could Kick Your Website’s A@#
Have you converted yet? Does your business have a blog? Here are four reasons you should:
- Blogs expand your reach. Recently my blog posts have been mentioned on random sites, including a soapmaking website, a startup blog, and HerBigIdea.com. Just like a virus, more people can find you when others pick up your posts and link to them.
- Blogs make you an expert. Or in my case, an “Eggspert.” Blogs back up your knowledge, and can reinforce your abilities. This makes sales easy to close.
- Blogs tell customers you’re tech savvy. Or at least your assistant is. Staying on top of technology is important for any business. No one wants to spend money with a company that has a website last updated in 1996.
- Blogs boost your SEO. Linking to your primary website on your blog can help move you up the search engine results.
Have you heard enough? What’s keeping you from starting a blog? Talk to me about it. Leave me a comment with your best excuse for not starting a blog.

I got over my excuse for starting a blog. Now my excuses are around maintaining a blog. The ‘pressure’ to continue coming up with fresh content overwhelms me.
