Small Business Trends put out a great post a few days ago called 5 Simple Ways to Get Paid to Build Your Brand. It’s worth reading. Here’s what I got out of it:

  • Make your logo and branding cool. That way people don’t mind advertising for you. I get shirts at blogging conferences because they’re just damn cool. So now I’m promoting cafe press, b5 media, typepad (sorry Wordpress) and lijit.
  • Anything that goes out your door should have your logo on it. Every pen, paper bag, napkin, toilet paper…
  • Find ways to get your brand on an item people use every day.
