twitter_logoWhether you’re new to Twitter or a pro, I want to give you a few people I think add benefit to the conversations on marketing and social media.

On Twitter, we call this #followfriday. Basically we give a shout out to people on Twitter we find interesting, amusing, or otherwise worthy of being followed.

Social Media Experts

@chrisbrogan Sorry to be cliche by having him as #1 on my list, but dang, he knows his stuff. AND he’s super nice. Chris is great at participating in conversations about social media and letting his followers into his world.

@hubspot Hubspot’s not all warm and fuzzy (read: basically is just an RSS feed), but it’s got great content on internet marketing that will educate you.

@problogger Darren Rowse, once best known for his Problogger blog, now also promotes his Twitter blog, Twitip on Twitter. Whatever the topic, he’s full of great information, and is surprisingly accessible.

@prblog This up-and-comer, Kevin Dugan, is great at starting conversations and referring useful PR web links.

Business and Miscellany

@smallbiztrends I’ve long been a fan of Anita Campbell. Her blog, Small Business Trends, is highly useful for small business owners, and her tweets are always interesting.

@guykawasaki Guy is definitely one of the Twitterati. He’s got great posts, and you might actually find out something before the rest of the world if you pay attention to him.

@gregverdino Internet marketer and good question-asker.

@katjapresnal Katja is an internet marketer, but also is in the mommyblogging realm (good contact if you’re trying to reach this group). Highly active on Twitter.

I could go on all day, but I won’t. Who are your favorite Tweeple? Let us know so we can follow them too!

If you’re not already following me, you should be!
