Okay, I hope my fellow bloggers will forgive me for taking the shortcut here on writing an actual post. That’s what Link Love is, right? The easy way out? Anyway, here are some recent articles I think you should read, in lieu of me writing.

  • John Mariotti at Small Business Trends plays devil’s advocate and tells you ten reasons he won’t use social media sites. He brings up good points, and I’m inclined to agree with him.
  • My new Mastermind Group buddy Dawud Miracle has a couple of posts I wanted to refer.
  1. His article, “You Don’t Have to Be a Salesman to Sell Like a Pro” really hit home. My whole career life, I’ve said “I hate sales.” Really he made me realize I hate the stereotype of sales (the greasy salesman who will try to sell you anything regardless of if you need it). Dawud shares with us a great example of a good salesperson and how they did it.
  2. Why Email Marketing IS Interruption Marketing” is readworthy as well. He’s a little negative on email marketing compared to me (I live off it, BUT only permission based!), but still raises interesting points to consider if you want to do email marketing.

As for me, folks, I’m outta here. Going to Mississippi to visit family with a brief romantic interlude in New Orleans (ain’t free babysitting grand?). Back next week. Have a great holiday.
