One of the biggest highlights of BlogWorld Expo 2008 for us was the opportunity to meet Deb Ng. She’s been inspiring and educating us since we started our company. Tamara and I have really looked to her as sort of a freelancing mentor.
Recently, Deb took a step back from her wildly successful Freelance Writing Jobs blog so that she could get more involved with other forms of social media. One of her biggest forays has been into podcasting with BlogTalkRadio.
Still, she was able to take a few minutes out between presenting and working at the BlogTalkRadio booth to give us a little peek into what the transition has been like for her. We had a wonderful time getting to know Deb better and discovering that she’s really down-to-earth and enjoys a good laugh. I dare say that a good time was had by all!
Lordy did I need some sleep! Lots of baggage under the eyes.

Nice to finally put a face to the name, Deb. I’m technically challenged too, so I feel your pain. But you’re right, it’s a lot easier now than it was.
What a great interview. You shouldn’t feel intimidated by the “big people” - you are one of them and you have every right to stand tall and shout as loud as you like!
