I’m always on the lookout for great books about real people, especially women. These books inspire me and continue to underscore the fact that each one of us is significant in our own way. If you too like nonfiction books about people who have had a significant impact on our culture, this is the giveaway for you!

Momsational is giving away five copies of Sheila Weller’s Girls Like Us. This New York Times Best Seller and Oprah recommended book is about Carly Simon, Joni Mitchell and Carole King.

According to the New York Times, Girls Like Us is “a strong amalgam of nostalgia, feminist history, astute insight, beautiful music and irresistible gossip.”

According to People magazine, this book is “Both scholarly and dishy. A superb journalist, Weller has managed to uncover a trove of unreported facts on her subjects.”
