I just recently escaped the rat race this past Novembers and I can totally relate to so many of your points. Especially fighting the shopping crowds after 5. lol. I was done with my holiday shopping at around 5pm this past wed and it was great! Now my poor wife is out there braving the other last minute shoppers. (She forgot to tell me to pick up a few things so now she's stuck out there.) Again great post! Great post Susan!
