No problem, happy you enjoyed it. I actually ran into that same problem when I got a beta account for GC. I was able to secure a number in my area code, but only after picking another town. So far I haven’t come across any problems, but it is kind of odd. Hopefully they’ll have a bigger selection of phone numbers once they open up the service again.

Thanks for the list! I tried reserving a number with Grand Central a few months ago, but I don't like that their numbers are so limited. I guess it's not that important if it's not exactly my town, but the geographical location of the area code I wanted to get was pretty far from where I live. Any thoughts about this? I know you didn’t want to cover Twitter but I find it indispensible when on the move – especially using gcal to update my Google calendar.

Good list though, shame that Yelp only covers the US. I’d love that kind of information.
