I’m well known for hating on the almighty Mac. I’m a PC lover from way back when and that will probably never change… so why is Apple making so much headway in my home office?
First, I do have an iMac on my desk – used mostly for media consumption. I watch internet television and web video as well as listen to hours and hours of podcasts each week. The iMac wins it’s space because it doesn’t take up much and it runs like a horse, never giving me a moments trouble.
I’ve always used a Microsoft keyboard with the Mac because I hate hate hate the Apple keyboard and mouse that came with it. But today, Apple won a little more desktop space with this awesome little bluetooth keyboard:
Look at how little space it takes up! Since I don’t need to use a keyboard on the Mac often – it is easy to slip out of the way and pull out when I need it.
And come on – it is seriously a sexy little thing
Next up – I’ve just become a giddy new iPhone user.
I honestly didn’t plan to use an iPhone. I’ve been happy with my BlackBerry Curve over the last two years – but then my son introduced me to surfing on his iPod Touch and I had what he calls a ‘nerd-gasm’. It’s truly amazing.
I’ll miss the ‘real’ qwerty keyboard that the BlackBerry offers. Thumbing the iPhone’s touch screen is taking some getting used to – but I have already fallen in love with it and the ever enticing AppStore.
Look at how the big screened iPhone in a pink wave case mocks the little BB…
Poor little BB.
What can I say? I’ve being tempted by the Apple.

Once you go Mac you never go back.
I work as an iPhone app developer now, so I am using a Mac every day. I’ve gotten really used to it now, but sometimes I still miss the way that HOME and END behaves on Windows, cuz sometimes I just want to go to the front or end of the line instead of the document.
Did you try out the Palm Pre? Sounds like it’s what you want–iPhone-style browser and multitouch with a real keyboard.

I am currently using a Blackberry Curve for business and the iPod Touch for music and media. For me, its the right balance now. I’m finally getting used to the iPod Touch keyboard, but its not enough for me to actually give up the QWERTY keypad. especially when people need a response yesterday.
I’m a Mac lover just because it’s much simpler for me to use esp. with the adobe design suite. I’ve been forced to use my husband’s bulky pc b/c it’s the only computer we can connect to our satellite internet service (for now). I miss my Mac and its tiny, compact little self. As for the iPhone…I love it too!
I love my Mac, but have been forced to use my husband’s PC who hated Mac’s but has recently converted to being a lover of Mac’s…if only he had listened to me when we decided to invest in a family computer. Mac’s defintely score big in the space issue…cute, compact, and so easy to manuever. There’s no guessing where systems info will be stored, etc. I love everything Mac, even the quiet little keyboard.
Mac is amazing!! I recently bought my first mac and I will never go back to PC. IT NEVER CRASHES!! I am not sure why I ever hesitated buying one. They are small, lightweight and cute to boot! GO MAC!

i’d love mac too .. it feel i dont need worrying again about something that i dont need to worry. Just like everything would save with it.
and i love the keyboard, just like you said, its sexy and elegant..
mm..
I don’t know maybe I love Mac, maybe not. I don’t have mac, ’cause it’s very expensive for me. It’s important problem, because we must pay for Apple’s logo only. I know Mac’s are very fast… I want to try it)
And I have iPhone 2g. A like it)) very much.

I had a PC way back in the early 90’s. My husband bought a Mac Plus and neither of us looked back. They are simply better made and a lot easier to use. Plus they are so-o-o easy on the eyes.
