@Jenni – I think a coach like this is fairly unique. They need to understand business and business development. Yet at the same time they need to have some sort of background in emotional/mental development – maybe even healing. Wendy’s great. She’s trained with Tony Robbins and works with NLP. So she has the skills. Adam Kayce has an amazing background in consciousness training – and I believe he offers a free initial consult. But basically, you want someone who has training beyond just coaching.

Just remember – what you focus on expands.

It is very comforting when you have someone that you can count on to be a calming influence and help guide you through some hectic situations.

And, it’s not just for people starting out…

What I’m also seeing (since I work with folks going through these kinds of things) is that when people have businesses that have been up and running for a while, it’s these same kinds of entrenched issues that keep us from feeling the kind of fulfillment and satisfaction that we’ve been striving for.

Sure, we work for money, for a chance to give and serve, for fun — but also, many times, for a sense of purpose. And as long as fears (or whatever) are ‘driving the car’, it’s hard to feel that sense of meaning and fulfillment.
