For those of you interested in learning more about web development, regular reader Shazia Mistry is running a web development class for beginners:
This is a practical web development class for beginners, discussing the basics of html and website design, and then focusing on how to set up a blog, online store, and forum, and customize the look and feel of it.
It’s a great class for bloggers who want to maintain their own site, or for online store owners, or for someone who is interested in web development as a business but just wants to try it out first, without too much of a commitment.
For those of you interested in learning more about this class, check out the course registration page. And keep us posted on what you learn!

Wow. That class looks totally awesome! (Forgive my 1980s linguistic regression.) I’m going to see if I can scrape together enough money for that. It looks so perfect for me . . . I’m such a “big picture” person, so I love to know how all the little pieces fit together and what they add up to. I’ll bet it’s a tax write off at the end of the year, too! Thanks for the information.
That is actually really helpful for a lot of people. Very nice!
