Ah, I just have to sit for a second and enjoy the heck out of the blogging life. I really love this stuff!
Oh - sorry, caught myself daydreaming in gratitude there for a second. Onto the business of BlogDay 2006!
FOUR::
Since my “I Want One” of the day is a kick-ass bundt pan, I decided to dive into the blogging world of cooking. I stumbled upon Nic’s BakingSheet, and knew I need look no further for an unbelievably comprehensive and fantastic cooking and recipe blog. Check out her Carmelized Banana Buttermilk Ice Cream, Cherry Blueberry Clafloutis (I don’t know what the heck a clafloutis is but it looks darn amazing!), and a surprisingly interesting and yummy looking Watermelon Gazpacho.
Nice to meet you, Nic - thanks for the yummy inspiration!
FIVE::
Ok, you may read this and think I live under a rock (I’m checking to see if my walls are really made of stone…), but I just discovered Popgadget. This is a blog after my own heart: Personal Tech and Lifestyle for Women. I’m feeling warm and fuzzy all over.
Mia Kim is the founder, and she’s created quite an empire here (where the HECK have I been??). From earphone bling, flip flops with a built in bottle opener (I kid you not) to cow and pig dustbuster size vacuum cleaners (who comes up with this stuff??).
Actually, I picked the most far-out things they have on their blog. But in reality there are some downright useful and totally cool gadgets they have found (or have found them, more likely!). Either way it is a blog worth visiting, reading and subscribing to.
Ah, I can breathe deep now and relax… but tomorrow I’ve got both BlogTipping Day AND the BlogCarnival… No rest for the weary… ![]()
