I’m so glad to hear that I’m not the only one who hates the term coach.

Maybe it’s because I’m not a native speaker, but for me coach is someone who trains a sports team and not someone who make people change and reach their potential.

Barb – I just emailed you and I’m excited to speak to you as well!

You are insightful with your comments – I was thinking about it last night, and the “right” title came to mind – though it’s so impractical that I don’t see myself using it – I would love to call myself “Transformation Sherpa”.

But if you think of a business title from a practical SEO perspective, I don’t think I’m going to get a lot of natural search traffic from people looking for a Transformation Sherpa anytime soon.

Congratulations on taking the step to become a leader!

I also have never cared for the term “coach”, but after thinking about it realize that’s what you are. The person you are coaching is actually the “Change Agent, Manifestor of Destinies, Architect of Dreams, Transformation Maven”.

Your clients are doing all the change, but you are the one who is encouraging them and teaching them, holding them accountable. The only occupation I can think of that does those things is a coach, so it’s an apt title.

By the way, I’ve requested my sample coaching from you and I’m really excited about it!!!
