In the words of C.S. Lewis: "Faith... is the art of holding on to things your reason once accepted, despite your changing moods.”

Faith is an all powerful resource. We need it to heal our body, mind, and soul. We need it to inspire us to get up every day and do the things we must to survive.

Faith without it -- what are we?

I must admit change can be scary, but the only way to overcome it is to look it straight in the eye and overcome it. I am set to start a new venture here on the 18th, only one short week away. I have some more research to do this week and some marketing strategies to implement, but as it looks now ... it is set to go Monday. I appreciate your thoughts on empowerment, it is something we all need, no matter how brave a soul we are. I will look in over the coming weeks to check out your guest bloggers thoughts on the subject.

One of the reasons that I love freelancing so much is because of the fact that things are always changing. My weeks never look the same, and it keeps me from getting bored and stagnant. Still, change can be a scary thing, and I just love the way you put it: "Truly, if we’re going to experience the success we crave, we have to not just accept transition - we have to embrace it as a welcome friend."

Perfect!

Change IS inevitable! It seems like something is always changing and we either learn to roll with the punches or get beat up in the process... Some changes I'm more readily to accept, while I struggle with others. Great reminder that we need to stay open to the great things that change brings...

Unfortunately, with the constant evolution of technology, it's almost *required* to embrace change. Else you'll be left behind, I'm afraid.

In my opinion change can be good or bad. If we change just to change we can sometimes miss out on what could have developed after the dip. If we don't change just to not change, we miss out on new opportunities that present themselves.

Knowing when to change is one of the most important skills you have to develop as a business owner.

Thought provoking post!

Change can be exciting. I don't do well with sudden changes or things that are out of my control but trying something new in business or learning about a new technology gets the ol' brain working better.

I don't fear change, but sometimes I don't enjoy it. It can be painful or just difficult. Luckily, most of the time, I am thrilled for the new and different. Guess it comes from my questioning nature. :-)

Carrie, I like my routine, too, but it is nice to be jarred out of it now and then.

I am not one who fears change, I know it's inevitable. But lately, there has been a bit too much change in my life and I'm looking forward to having a routine again.
