Yes, it’s been a very slow holiday week around here – at least on the outside – behind the scenes I’ve been doing a TON of prep work for taking this site to the next level…
But I did want to remind everyone that on Monday we will be launching the second Group Research Project – and we’ll even have some swanky prizes to give away to those who participate.
What is a Group Research Project?
Simply put, there’s always things that we want to learn more about – but don’t really have the time to research all of them. By pooling our efforts, everyone who participates researches on subject and writes a “How To” post on their own blog for everyone’s benefit.
If you have a suggested subject you want to learn more about, please leave it in a comment on the announcement post. On Monday we’ll each pick a topic from the list and take a few days to research and write. On Thursday I’ll post the final roundup of links and everyone will get to learn from each other (and enjoy the traffic along the way!).
Want to know what it’s like? Check out the last time we did a group writing project with 26 Internet Marketing How To’s for Every Level of Experience.

Wendy,
I would like to submit a couple of ideas if I may – not being a Mom let alone a work at home Mom. I am however a Dad and at this time a work at home Dad.
1) Better balance of Work, Family, Personal time.
2) Ways to improve writing style and skill (books, websites, techniques, exercises…)
3) How to write better hooks and titles for articles, blogs, or ???
4) How to expand your audience and keep your voice.
Just a few that are on my mind these days.
Thanks, Roger
Hi Wendy, I’m looking forward to it, I learned a lot from the last project, and I didn’t even get through the entire list yet!
Hi Wendy,
I have just checked out your last project what a great idea and so much information that is useful on the last one you did.
I’ll head over to the announcement site, I have lots of questions
Suzie
Hi Suzie – we’d LOVE to have you this time around! Also, RE: your question about the Ultimate Wealth Program – I don’t have it, but from what I understand it is kind of a packaged site program. I’ve heard relatively good things about it, but if you want to learn about affiliate marketing specifically, I’d recommend:
The Super Affiliate Handbook or
Quit Your Day Job
Both are excellent resources by really talented and respected marketers in the industry.
Work/life balance! How do we leap from the security of the day job without collapsing under a punishing startup pace? Isn’t balance and flexibility a primary reason why we’re choosing to work at home, work for ourselves and build own dreams? Sure, doing what we love and passionately believe makes a difference in our commitment level, but still – I want to enjoy my life!
There were some great articles shared in the first group research project so this should be exciting.
Roger and Jeri, I think you both have some great ideas and hopefully those topics will be covered in the project!
I love reading your blog. It is a content-laden treasure trove. Tho’ I’m an Asian dad living in Malaysia, I love reading your stuff. Write on!
