I think these events sound like a ton of fun, but as someone who doesn't really earn money from her blog (I'm thinking of it as sort of a "gift" to the world), what could be the reasons I would want to attend something like that (other than to because all the "cool kids" are doing it)? Like I said, I think it sounds fun, but I don't know if a) my husband would say "sure, you should go just because it sounds like fun," b) I would be taken seriously or matter at an event like that, and c) I would get an education worth the price of attending.
