Local Chicagoland Bloggers Meetup?

I was just swapping emails with one of my readers, and I suggested to her to start up a local meetup group in the hopes she could get some face time with a certain A-Lister that happens to live in her town.
Which then made me realize that this would be a pretty cool thing to do ’round here.
I know I have readers here in the Chicago area. Anyone up for a blogging meetup?

Great idea. We just set up a Pro Blogger Meetup group for Dallas about a month ago. Here’s the URL:

We haven’t had our first meeting yet, but planning it for the end of February. Jennifer and I just moved and and also migrated our site from TypePad to Wordpress – which was a bit of a handful BTW, but well worth it.

Yeah, I started this blog on NucleusCMS, and about the time I realized this blog was getting some attention, I decided I had better get my blog switched over to a stronger platform while I didn’t have a lot of posts to move.
It was one of the best decisions I made on this blog! Good luck to you – I feel your pain!

There’s a Chicago Bloggers meet up group that meets every couple of weeks. I haven’t gone to one yet but if you set one up, I’ll go! Let’s have it in Oak Brook. LOL
