Today is the wonderful day of the week to kick some butt and get things done!
And today I’m going to dedicate some extra resources to feeling productive - meaning I’m going to create a more productive work space rather than just be productive at work.
How am I going to do that?
- Clean my office
- Clean my desk
- Clean up the family room
- Clean out my inbox
- Clean out my mind (meditate!)

My Mondays aren’t as bad as they used to be, but then again, I’ve gotten used to working flexible hours since becoming self-employed.
What am I going to do today?
- Follow my daily plan.
- Blog a bit.
- Clean up my apartment, because it’s becoming too dirty even for me. =)
What’s motivating me? I want to improve on my traffic and I really don’t like the dirt in my apartment anymore.
Mine is simple. I’m going to finish my bathroom today. I bought a new mirror, light, towel racks, and knobs for my bathroom. FYI, I live an in investment home that is about 90% complete. The bathroom is a small chunk, but certainly on of the most important when showing the home. My motivation is simple. $$$

Meditation, what’s that?
We’ve been getting kicked out of our house for real estate showings so I haven’t had time for meditation in 2 weeks.
I’m going to get social today!
My plan is to find 50 new bloggers that I can meet.
No coffee for a week! Wow that’s brave. Do we get an update next week on how that one went? I hope so!

No Cofee!!!…ugh. Although I must admit, if I set the stakes that high I’d probably stay up all night to accomplish my goals, if I had to.
So…I’ll meet your “no coffee” consequence and set my goals:
1. Finish an article I’ve been working on for over a week.
2. Take my dog for a hike.

What I promised to do today is try to get the word out about Aboon Books affiliate contest (1st prize $100) and writing contest (1st prize $400). I can’t really count on other affiliates to get the word out, since if only a couple people know about it, then gosh, odds of winning go way up.
Problem is, getting it done is a sort of vague finish line. I can always think of more places to post or people to contact. And I do need to pay those end of the month bills as well.

Yeah, the more I think about it, all the sharp cookies read EmomsAtHome, right? So now that I’ve posted here, I’m going to mark above task done (at least for today). The bill pile is really in need of attention. When I’m done paying the bills, I will (mmm… thinking reward here) indulge in wine and chips! I’ll need the wine!!
I am going to do nothing. That would be huge for me
I just threw my back out doing massage (ironic) and can’t really move. So I am going to focus on not doing much…
I think I will write a guest post on that! I’ll shoot it over as soon as I have a chance to evaluate my findings.
