Monday Motivation It’s the week of the 4th of July here in the states - and it’s pretty much guaranteed to be one of the most ~~unproductive~~ fun-filled weeks of the summer. We’re not doing much this year, so that means I’ll be working today and most of the week. My husband is home today, though, and he confiscated my laptop for most of the morning - so here’s hoping he’ll leave me alone the rest of the day to get my list done.

So what is Monday Motivation you ask? It’s a quick way to throw a little leverage and accountability into your day to give you the kick in the pants you need to get your stuff done.

Step 1 - let us know what you are going to get done today (your to-do list, so to speak).

Step 2 - put it in a comment below or a post on your own site.

Step 3 - let us know what will motivate you to get it done - a reward, consequences, or whatever thoughts you need to think that will ensure you do what you say you are going to do.

Today, I will:

Update my advertisers and advertising on the site
Clean out my inbox (a surprisingly “light” 172 emails)
Write up new site mission
30 minutes on new business plan outline

If I don’t get these things done by the time I go to bed tonight, I will do yardwork on Wednesday while the family goes boating. Yugh.
