This needs to be a quickie post because tonight I will have 10 giggling 12 year old girls in my basement for my daughter’s sleepover. I bet you envy me! /not!/

If you need some inspiration today check out this YouTube video about a wonderful kid who is blind, yet can see almost better than you or I can… you have to watch it to understand - very powerful! (Hint :: check out the empowering beliefs this mom has drilled into her son! Woot!)

Jessica Duquette writes on one of my favorite blogs at It’s Not About Your Stuff. She put up a great post with some wonderful Feng Shui links to help make your home office more productive, prosperous and energized. Guess what I’m doing this weekend?!

My buddy Steve Olson and I got the chance to talk on the phone earlier this week. I had asked for his help to understand StumbleUpon better. Boy, was that a well-spent chunk of time!! I normally don’t bother taking the time to learn about the in-depth details of this kind of service - but he had me convinced that I was wrong to dismiss StumbleUpon last week. Thanks to a few gracious Stumblers, WendyPiersall.com crashed into the Alexa top 100,000 sites within 48 hours of launching the site!

My $.02 = StumbleUpon is worth every second it takes to learn how it works. I it!!

Wendy,
Thanks for the mention. I’m glad I could help.

Congrats on making the top 100,000 on Alexa! What is StumbleUpon… I have heard that mentioned before.

Thanks Kirsten! Just go to StumbleUpon.com and do a little reading. It’s a little like the old eTour.com from way back in 2000. Based on your interests and ratings, you use the StumbleUpon toolbar to surf the web and they serve up pages you will very likely enjoy. It’s also a good traffic builder when your own blog pages get added with a ‘thumbs up’. Well worth the time it takes to read through the big FAQ page!

Cool… I will go check it out! Thanks Wendy! I always love finding new things to learn in this virtual world. Seems like I see something new everyday.
