MyBlogLog appears to only want to cultivate U.S. pro bloggers.
Shame – there are plenty of people in other countries who could do just as nice a job!
James – don’t be too hard on MBL. It’s international contest laws that are extremely difficult to work with. What is legal in one country is illegal in another, and those conflicts make it next to impossible to run a contest that is legal in multiple jurisdictions.
I have the same problem with our Parent Product Reviews blog, in which the author is British, yet we can’t run contests that are inclusive to the bulk of her audience. It makes me so sad to have to do it, but legal nightmares make me even sadder.
What is really strange about this is that I would never have agreed to one year’s membership into Blog Mastermind, give that the program goes for about six months.
I think whoever is organizing this might have got their wires crossed.
