Some of you may remember my series on how to Digg-proof your WordPress blog from the early summer. Much of the problem around running WordPress under heavy traffic boils down to two problems - not enough memory on your server, or not using a good cache tool to ease the load on your server.
Donncha O Caoimh just released a hyper-charged version of my often-recommended plugin WPCache called WordPress Super Cache v0.1. From everything I have read about it, the plugin sounds like a killer addition to WP. I hope to get it installed soon around here, but since I moved to a dedicated server, thankfully I haven’t had the need!
Thanks and hugs to Lorelle for giving me the heads up about it!

Thanks for mentioning it, Wendy. I wasn’t aware (although the WP cache plugin I’m currently using seems to be doing the trick).
I have never used any wordpress cache plugin. I have heard that many blogs went down due to some error in the older wp-cache plugin.
I’ve been away from the blogsphere a couple of months. It’s good to come back to eMoms and get updated. I’ll give the cache plugin a go. Thank you!
