Thanks for a great article. Payment is definitely one of the aspects of working independently that can become a tricky issue. However, I think the payment system for Virtual Assistants can be looked at this way…when you retain a lawyer, you usually pay them retainer fee up front before they do any work for you. So the pay before you receive services concept is not an entirely new one.
