I have some software I purchased that helps keep me focused. I would call it time management software but it really is a little different. I input all my standard daily activities and how much time I want to spend on each as well as at what time. So, if I want to answer phone calls from 1pm-2pm then I input that. Answer emails from 10am-10:30am and so on. The software is desktop resident so at 10am an alert pops up and says “Answer emails!” As long as I do what it tells me throughout the day I find that my time is usefully spent. It helps keep out the distractions that are prevalent. In fact, it’s almost like having a boss looking over your shoulder all the time. Not necessarily an appealing thought but it works. Lol.

wow – I stumbled on this site 2 days ago and I can’t seem to get away from it.

I found emomsathome.com while searching for support to manage my business and home – I have so many ideas floating around in my head that I swear I could work a 60 hour work week… but, with 3 young children, a hubby, dog and house to clean – it is vital that I prioritize.

Thank you so much for the wonderful reminder… I’m working on a schedule of having a 3 hour work day. Now… all I have to do is stick to it!
