I doubt this is the first you’ve heard about this, but Darren Rowse is holding a put-eMoms-birthday-contest-to-shame birthday celebration contest this month. With $54K in prizes, he’s even giving me a complex about our own new contest channel (which is getting some rave reviews, I might add). We don’t exactly have $54K in prizes… yet.
I was going to post about it earlier this week, and I’m so glad that I wasn’t able to fit it in, because today he is giving away two 20? LG USB monitors from DisplayLink. Since this post also serves as my entry, it was dang great that I didn’t post about his contest until today.
What, don’t want to link to Darren for a contest prize? Well, this is the only prize that requires a link - everything else is easier to win. But everything else isn’t as nice as two new 20″ flat panels.

I was going to enter for that prize and now I’m rethinking it….I have 2 monitors but don’t have the second hooked up, I just need a dual monitor card. If only Darren were giving away one of those!

You don’t need a dual monitor card, all you do need is enough USB slots! Those monitors are USB powered so don’t need special set ups and are plug and play! Definitely a good competition and no problems!
I won the first contest for a copy of the SEO Book so I cannot enter to win any of the other contests. That is a little bit of a bummer when you look at prizes like these monitors but the book is great so I am happy.
