In this week’s Spark an Idea Thursday we are Sparking an Idea about Goal Setting. (Sorry, I’m a day late in posting my round up!)
I’ll admit that I’m big on setting goals on a short term basis. I make lists and take time to consider where I want to be in six months or a year.
I don’t however take a lot of time to think about long term goals. I do not have a five or ten year plan at this point. One of these days maybe I will? We’ll see.
See what our Sparkplugging Author’s had to say about Goal Setting yesterday…
- Brandie says you have to be S.M.A.R.T.
- Susan says to break your goals down into digestible pieces.
- Michelle says you have to know where you want to go and Jen says be consistent!
- Crissy says to look at the big picture and work backwards from there.
- Tamara and Lorna say to use positive words instead of negative.
- Lynette sets goals using mindmaps and a super smart pen.
- Laurie doesn’t set goals!
