What a well written post. It reminds me of my childhood! It's important to have things planned or kids tend to find stuff to do - not all of which is productive.

How funny and true. My summer schedule, oh what summer schedule. Now if I can just lay off the pizza it will be a great summer.

I love the humor in this blog even though I take work at home very seriously.
Self discipline is the most important tool for all online business builders and work from home moms and to achieve it you need to have the right mindset.

As for me - I'm the worlds most disorganized person and have to work hard to remain focused.

This is the first summer I've worked at home with children at home too and it is so much harder than I thought it would be. I cope by getting up way early to get as much done before the kids get up and find pockets of time to get everything else done throughout the day. I have to say though that once I made spending time with and enjoying the kids the main priority, things really became much easier. I mean - after all - that's why I am working from home in the first place - to spend time with my kids.
