There is a great Blog Carnival running currently, the Carnival of Home Business. The first edition was a huge success, with a plethora of posts about home based business creation, business advice, and business ideas.

What is a Blog Carnival, you may ask? Basically, the “host blog” gathers submitted links to blog entries on a specific topic, compiles them into one (or a couple) of posts, and then posts the combined wisdom of many bloggers into one very comprehensive spot. The “host blog” changes every time to allow different bloggers exposure to and from different sources. It’s a great way to build both traffic and links.

The second edition is coming upon us soon, with the deadline for entries in two short days on July 27th. The theme is marketing for your home based business. Go to BlogCarnival to submit your best entries for the festivities.

I am the fortunate host of the third edition, with a deadline for entries on August 31. The topic for this upcoming carnival will be, appropriately enough, balancing work and home life. The official announcement will be coming shortly after the second edition is live, and I’m both excited and honored to help my fellow work at home bloggers!

If you want to get a leg up and start sending in your entries early, please feel free to do so via my contact form. It would help to get a one or two sentence overview of your post along with your link.

Happy Blogging!
