Continuing the Converting Visitors to Revenue Interview Series, I get to ’speak’ today with Jim Kukral of JimKukral.com and his ongoing video channel over at YouTube called The Daily Flip. Jim has been in affiliate and online marketing for-ever in internet years, and also writes for ReveNews and the Marketing Profs Daily Fix.
Jim is someone I consider on the leading edge of video blogging, in fact, he doesn’t do a lot of “writing” anymore. When I sent him my questions, I suggested he might want to answer in the format he knows best, which he has done amazingly well (making me more intimidated to get into video!).
In this 3 and a half minute clip, Jim answers my questions about his most successful online sales campaign ever, setting up split testing, and promoting blog posts with affiliate links. His info is especially relevant to people who sell products or services. He makes a good point near the end about disclosure, and I might try out his idea about offering two links instead of one in a post.

Great stuff Wendy. Can’t wait until the next one in this series.
Great presentation, and that’s a good tip to know about affiliate urls (my name is attached to one for this comment). Thanks Wendy for getting the interview and the suggestion to do it via video. Now to figure out the ins and outs for myself
Wow, this is really awesome. He totally just jumped into the point. I really like the service rep porto idea, and this also made think about what to do with affiliate links in the future.

Wendy video is a blast, we launched our video tip series this month. (see my blog) Post your first quick video no matter how laughable it is!
As with anything new, once you overcome inertia and get some momentum going, it’s a breeze and you can’t believe you waited so long. Call me if you need any help in this area.
